Fashion Footwear

There are so many ways to dress our feet. People say to put your best foot forward, and that foot should be well-shod. Why not? Dressing up is fun, and depending where you plan to be, looking good could mean many things. You're not going to show up at an interview with a well-known fashion editor in dirty old sneakers are you? I certainly hope not, for your sake.
I'm not telling you how to dress, but I want to show you all the beautiful things about footwear. The shoe is the foundation of every outfit. If your foundation is not solid, everything else falls apart. What's the point of walking around looking drop-dead gorgeous in a designer dress if you don't have the proper shoes for it? An amazing shoe can actually save you if you're not looking your best. Let's say you run out for a quick shopping trip wearing Manolos but you're wearing clothes from last season. (Hence the need to shop) When people see you walk by they'll think something like, Style on the run instead of What was she thinking?
I think you prefer the first one.
Anyway, so my point is that maybe you might not find them necessary, but shoes are every bit as important as whatever else you put on when you get ready to go out and face the world.
I'm not saying you have to go out everyday in super-high heels all the time (although it wouldn't hurt! ☺) there are other options. Ever heard of gladiator sandals? You can definitely walk around in those for awhile before getting tired.

Now we get to the real meaning of a well-shod foot:

These are all from Nine West and BCBG Max Azria.

Maybe I'll do bags tomorrow.
