I apologize for yesterday's poor excuse of a blog post, but my weekend has offically begun, so now is the time to make up for it. Yesterday's shoe was the "Kiki" pump of repurposed leather and vintage kimono fabric by Hetty Rose in 2009. Today's shoe is the glamorous gold kid and royal blue suede dance shoe by Bally in 1936. It was really nice to know that while I was in English class this morning writing an essay about something everyone already knows, the BCBGMAXAZRIA Fall 2011 collection was being showcased as a part of New York Fashion Week. Every look had a base of a white turtle neck with high-heeled knee-high boots. Then each one was decorated differently. There were many neutrals, thin belts, pleats, layers and deep v-necks.
